I am laid back and flexible, eager to do whatever it takes to have fun and make your day. What is your favorite DJ memory? When I learned how to make balloon animals so that I could make them for kids at a Platinum show I did. What is the funniest thing that ever happened at an event? The groom at the wedding was in a heavy metal band. Him and the bride wanted me to play the whole cd all the way through during the reception. What is your proudest moment as a DJ? Every time that the bride hugs me at the end of the night because she had such a good time. Why did you become a DJ? I love music, serving people, and having fun. That combination keeps me loving what I do. Why do you like performing at wedding dances? Marriage is such a wonderful thing and it is something that should be celebrated. This makes wedding dances my favorite dances to perform at. I get to help people have fun on one of the most significant days of their life. What is your favorite party song? "Twist and Shout" by The Beatles What sets you apart from other DJ's, or what are you specialties? I serve my clients in ways that people often say "I didn't know DJ's do that.", like helping people carry in decorations, lighting candles, clearing tables, getting drinks, etc. What are some of your personal accomplishments (scholarships, memberships, etc.)? I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics from Eastern Illinois University. I was on the Dean's and President's List. I was the student leader with a campus ministry at EIU. List one or more fun fact(s) about you most people do not know: I play guitar and bass. I like mathematics. How would you describe your “DJ Personality” or “DJ Style”? I’m fun-loving and laid back. I’ll do what it takes to make sure you have a great night! What is your favorite thing about being a DJ? Looking out onto the dance floor and seeing the Bride and Groom having a blast. Why do you like performing at wedding dances? A wedding is a day created by joy. It is a celebration of two people who have decided \| start the rest of their lives together by partying – What better reason to party?! What are some of your personal accomplishments (scholarships, memberships, etc.)? I taught music in the New Jersey Public School System for 2 years before coming to Illinois State University, where I received a Graduate Assistantship to pursue my Master’s Degree in Saxophone Performance. What is your favorite party song? LMFAO – Party Rock Anthem Why did you become a DJ? As a career musician, I live for music. I can’t think of anything better than a great party with great music! List one fun fact about you most people do not know: I’m a professional jazz musician who recently taught myself how to juggle.

How would you describe your “DJ Personality” or “DJ Style”? Laid-back but very attentive. I will do everything to make sure you are having a great time without constantly being on the mic because I believe the event should do the talking. People don't want to hear a DJ talk all night so I make sure the the energy is flowing throughout the entire event. What was the funniest thing to ever happen at an event? I think the funniest thing I've ever seen at an event was in the form of a impromptu karaoke performance to end a wedding reception. It started out with just the groom asking to use the mic to thank everyone for coming out and it snowballed into the entire reception huddled around one mic singing “Friends in Low Places”. What is your favorite thing about being a DJ? It's amazing knowing that you made somebodies special day absolutely perfect. It makes all the work and effort well worth it when a Bride and Groom come up to me after the show to let me know that the night was everything they hoped for, and more. What makes you unique / stand out as a DJ? My ability to listen to your needs and make sure everything is going exactly how you want it. If there is something that you need or want changed, I will make it my number one priority to get the job done. What is your favorite part of the night? When the dance floor is opened and everybody is ready to get the night going! What is your favorite party song? My favorites tend to change on a week-to-week basis because I’m always finding new music that really gets me moving. I like any song that the crowd will dance to, but my general favorites are: Rock With You (Michael Jackson), Yeah! (Usher), Black and Yellow (Wiz Khalifa), Footloose (Kenny Loggins), Pour Some Sugar On Me (Def Leppard) to name a few. Why did you become a DJ? My passion for all types of music is what drove me to start DJ'ing and it shows during my events. I love listening to all genres of music, especially songs that make people want to get up out of their seats and dance! List one fun fact about you most people do not know: I enjoy working on and building computers in my spare time.

How would you describe your DJ personality/style? In a word, UPBEAT! What is your favorite DJ memory? I had a groom that found out the day of his wedding that he was being called back to duty at his base in New York at 5:30a the next morning. That meant the bride and groom would have to leave their own reception at 10:00p instead for 11:30p as they previously thought. It was a tearful and emotional goodbye for everyone, but I’d never seen such an outpouring of love and support from family and friends. Obviously it wasn’t the craziest party I’d ever DJ’d but it was truly an honor to serve them at such a pivotal moment in their lives. What is the funniest thing that ever happened at an event? The first time a middle-aged man requested “Pokerface." He had not been dancing the entire night. I had assumed he just wanted the 20-something ladies that were dancing to stay on the floor. Boy was I wrong! And it didn’t take long for to figure it out. He and one of his friends tore up the dance floor with one of the funniest impromptu dances ever seen at a Complete Music event. Lets just say chairs have never been used as props in quite the same manner before. It was one of the funniest things I’d ever seen, and the bride and groom were still laughing about it at the end of the night. THAT is why we take and play requests! What is your proudest moment as a DJ? I remember being a new DJ… A glass dropped and shattered in the middle of the dance floor while everyone was dancing and having a great time and I had to stop the music so that people would clear the dance floor. In the meantime I started thanking everyone in the room, the wait staff, the bride and groom, the parents… anyone I could think of and having everyone give them a round of applause in order to fill the dead air. In no time the mess was cleaned up and we were back to dancing to the song everyone was enjoying and the party didn't skip a beat! It may sound simple, but that’s when I knew I really could handle this job and everything it can throw at me. Why did you become a DJ? I’d never actually thought about it before, but saw the ad and thought it sounded like fun. I had a great interview with my boss and it seemed like a great fit. A great company, great managers, playing music at parties, how could I NOT want to become a DJ? Why do you like performing at weddings/dances? I love to see people get together and have a wonderful time and let loose. There so much stress and frustration in life, especially in planning these events, it’s nice to help them cut loose and have fun! Plus, I enjoy the different personalities and getting to know everyone during dinner before the dancing even begins! What is your favorite party song? "Oh What a Night" by the Four Seasons What sets you apart from other DJ's, or what are you specialties? I have a great capacity for empathy, and this makes me a great DJ because weddings and other events are highly emotionally charged. I try to put myself in the client’s shoes and hopefully bring peace and calm and enjoyment into the situation in order for everyone to feel more at ease for what really matters: Relaxing and enjoying family and friends and a great party. List one or more fun fact(s) about you most people do not know: Weird fact... When I am nervous I try to type the conversations going on around me with my toes as fast as possible. Cool fact... I went to college when I was in First grade.... because I lived in Switzerland for 2 years when I was 4 years and started school K-1st grade in Lasagne, Switzerland. My sister and I both learned fluent french while we were over there and when my family moved back to the Illinois neither my sister or I would speak french because none of the other kids at school did. In attempt to save my foreign language skills my mom put me in a french class at Lake Land Community College. It didn't work, Je ne parlaiz vous francais...

How would you describe your “DJ Personality” or “DJ Style”? Glenn is to an event, what a fine tailor is to a custom fitted suit or dress. He can take the basics and put his clients personalized spin on it to ensure everyone has a great time at your event. He has an excellent knowledge of music and has the ability to read the crowd and play to their sweet spot. What is your favorite DJ memory? At 1 am after a 7 hour reception the party was still going strong. The bride led me and the rest of the remaining guests by hand through the hotel out the lobby for a group picture by the fountain outside in the circle drive. Much to my surprise when we arrived at the fountain it was this groups tradition to have their picture taken IN the fountain. I took off my shoes and socks rolled up my tux pants and posed in the fountain for the pictures. I have seen them on facebook and they are priceless. I love it when I can become part of their group and take part in special moments that will last forever. What is your proudest achievement as a DJ? I am quite proud of being recognized as “Rookie Of The Year – 2002” and #1 DJ several times since this initial milestone. What makes you unique / stand out as a DJ? I really take the Boy Scout Motto to heart, “Be Prepared.” This begins well before I arrive at the venue. I try to anticipate things that could go wrong and proactively work to make sure they don’t happen. This includes everything from traffic, equipment, music to the simple things like having safety pins and stain stick on hand the night of your event. What is your favorite part of the night? Spotlight/Ceremonial Events, I thrive on the pursuit of perfection. These ceremonial events are the moments that are the most emotionally invested in. I love being part of the reason they come off just the way the happy couple envisions them. What is your favorite party song? Honestly there are so many I just sat here for 30 minutes trying to pick one. Impossible task, but, here are a few: Sexy and I Know It, Sweet Caroline, Paradise by the Dashboard Lights, Don’t Stop Believing, and Fishin’ in the Dark are a few that I would try based on the crowd. Why did you become a DJ? I started long, long ago in a land before I had a family as a way to get out, meet people, and use my love of music and a good time. List one fun fact about you most people do not know: I met my wife while working as a DJ. We have been married since 2000 and are blessed with three DJ’s to be under the age of 11.

I had a deaf couple’s wedding reception and even though they couldn’t hear the music, they could feel the bass and they danced all night and had so much fun. It was amazing to be apart of that! What is your proudest moment as a DJ? Getting the crowd dancing and having them not wanting to stop, those are the nights that make me love my job more! Why did you become a DJ? It was always something I wanted to do. I finally figured out how to make it happen and learned so much more along the way. Why do you like performing at wedding dances? Who wouldn’t want to have a great time and be working that the same time?! I love music and I love making people happy! What is your favorite party song? Oh gosh, I have soo many! I guess choosing one.... "Hey Ya" by Outkast, always a fun one! What is your favorite part of the night? When I have a huge crowd for "Shout" such fun energy! What sets you apart from other DJ's, or what are you specialties? I am good at reading a crowd, and being prepared and organized if definitely a plus too! What are some of your personal accomplishments (scholarships, memberships, etc.)? I’m apart of a social non profit group where I host and participate in a variety of charity events. I also have a Bachelors of Arts in Broadcasting and Music Business. List one or more fun fact(s) about you most people do not know: I’ve always wanted to be a party coordinator, I throw theme parties and events for my friends and family all the time, and make up occasions to do so!
